This exodus towards metros like Bangalore and Hyderabad raises a question: are Odisha’s graduates less qualified, or is the state failing to create a job ecosystem that retains its talent pool?

Educators point towards the latter. They argue that Odisha struggles to produce graduates with the specific skillsets demanded by the modern workforce.
